On Sunday night, a chase on the 105 Freeway in Los Angeles, lasting over two hours and involving two vehicles, came to a fiery end with a successful PIT maneuver. KABC reported on the incident.

As the pursuit came to a close, the car’s wheel gave way, causing it to emit a shower of sparks as it scraped against the road surface.

The disabled vehicle was hit by a CHP cruiser, causing it to spin out on the freeway. After the incident, two men and a woman emerged from the car and surrendered.

At 8 p.m., Los Angeles police initiated a pursuit of a black sedan that was suspected to be stolen. The chase lasted for over an hour as the vehicle drove through various neighborhoods in southern Los Angeles County.

While driving through the South Gate, Huntington Park, and East Los Angeles areas, the suspect behind the wheel of a vehicle with potentially stolen plates kept to the speed limit on surface streets. Despite running red lights on multiple occasions, the driver did not exhibit any reckless behavior.

Five police SUVs trailed behind the unit during the chase, but they did not attempt to force the vehicle to stop through a PIT maneuver or any other means.

The LAPD officers pursued a suspect in a black sedan for over an hour until he abandoned the car and quickly switched to a white vehicle that seemed to be prepared for his arrival.

The law enforcement officials were worried that the individual or individuals involved might have possessed weapons.

The driver of the black car parked in a commercial parking lot after driving for more than 75 minutes. He quickly exited the vehicle and ran towards another waiting car. The driver hopped into the back seat of the white sedan, which then sped away at an alarming speed, reaching 75 mph on surface streets. The white sedan eventually got onto the 101 Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.

Without headlights on, the car was speeding on the 101 and 710 freeways, reaching speeds that sometimes exceeded 100 mph.

After more than 90 minutes since the start of the chase, the vehicle finally made its way down south on the 710 towards the Long Beach area.

The LAPD relinquished control of the chase to CHP units as it progressed onto the 110 north.

As the chase progressed, the car eventually made its way back to surface streets in southeast Los Angeles. During this time, the vehicle was involved in what appeared to be a crash. A single individual was spotted fleeing the scene on foot.

The police chase in Los Angeles County came to a halt on the 105 Freeway after the car lost a tire. To disable the car, a CHP cruiser made a PIT maneuver.

As the car kept evading, it eventually made its way onto the 105 highway.

The chase, which had been going on for over two hours, came to a dramatic end on the 105 when one of the wheels of the fleeing vehicle gave way and sent sparks flying from the rims. The California Highway Patrol had used the PIT maneuver to force the car to a halt.

The vehicle came to a stop, and three people, two men, and a woman, exited the car. Law enforcement officials took them into custody, causing a temporary blockage of the 105. According to LAPD, the driver of the black Lexus involved in the incident was not among the individuals who stepped out of the white vehicle and was apprehended separately.
