Nikola Corporation continues to provide Hyla refueling solutions to facilitate the volume ramp-up of its Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles in Southern California, located just off Interstate 5.
The new Hyla modular refueling station is situated at Tom’s Truck Center, which is situated at 13443 Freeway Dr. in Santa Fe Springs, California. It is consistent with Nikola’s objective of establishing 14 refueling solutions by the end of the year, which is a combination of Hyla and partner stations.
“Nikola is dedicated to collaborating with critical industry partners to fortify and broaden our hydrogen supply chain to spearhead the hydrogen revolution,” stated Ole Hoefelmann, president of energy. “Our efforts to increase the Hyla refueling infrastructure are an example of our commitment to accelerating the transition to zero-emission transportation and meeting the rising demand for hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks.”
Nikola is completing a hydrogen fueling triangle in Southern California with the inclusion of the Santa Fe Springs station. This location, in conjunction with its Ontario and Long Beach stations, now forms a network that serves a population of over 12 million individuals and encompasses multiple counties.
