During an operation that aimed to combat reported drug use and sales, authorities apprehended 17 individuals in the vicinity of an Orange County school.
Suspects were observed at La Palma Park in Anaheim, according to the Anaheim Police Department. This incident has had a detrimental effect on a charter school across the street.
Enforcement and outreach services were directed to the reported areas by Homeless Liaison Officers, who conducted the operation.
Seventeen individuals were apprehended by law enforcement personnel at the park on August 31. Seven individuals were apprehended on a variety of allegations. A woman who was eight months pregnant was transported to the hospital for care and lodging, while five others were provided with detox and housing services.

Two individuals were apprehended for narcotics violations after they were discovered unconscious in a vehicle. The area was cleared of all detritus, and their truck was impounded.
Anaheim Police stated that the enforcement of the law was a successful team effort, as the officers demonstrated compassion and provided services in addition to the legal process.
