Two men are being charged in connection with the murder of a Glendale music promoter.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has filed murder charges against two individuals who allegedly shot and killed a music manager in a Glendale parking lot last month.
Jerry Tolentino, 44, and Arman Martinyan, 43, are facing murder charges, along with added special allegations. Prosecutors have accused them of killing their victim by means of lying-in-wait. Additionally, Tolentino has been charged with the special allegation of using a handgun during the commission of the crime.
In addition, Tolentino has been charged with one count of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, following his previous conviction for carjacking in San Bernardino County back in 2007.
Martinyan could potentially receive a sentence of life without parole, while Tolentino, if found guilty as charged, could face a life sentence without the chance of parole, along with an additional 15 years.
They will remain in custody without bail until their hearing on September 20th.
