California police said that they found the body of a missing 3-year-old child at a recycling site, one day after her father’s body was found in another city.
Ellie Lorenzo was scheduled to be brought back to her mother’s house on Friday, July 12, according to a press statement from the Fremont Police Department. However, at 12:25 p.m. that day, the girl’s mother informed the police that the girl’s father had been discovered dead in San Francisco.
Ellie’s location was unknown, according to the authorities. Ellie was discovered deceased, according to San Jose police, who notified Fremont police on Saturday, July 13. According to reports, the girl’s body was discovered at a recycling facility.
Police Chief Sean Washington stated in the statement, “Our hearts are heavy for Ellie’s family, and we will continue to support them during this difficult time.” Ellie’s death will remain under investigation, according to San Jose police.
