Authorities found approximately $800,000 worth of stolen merchandise during a Compton raid and subsequently arrested two suspects.
In a recent operation, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives have successfully identified three fence operations that were involved in selling a considerable amount of stolen goods.
The booster crews were found to have grabbed an assortment of power tools, construction equipment and Apple electronics from nearby stores. These items were then taken to designated locations and sold for a profit.

Authorities have reported that two individuals have been arrested for the offense of receiving stolen property. The identities of the suspects have not been disclosed yet. They have been taken into custody and booked at the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station. The suspects are expected to be arraigned in court on a later date.
The LASD’s Organized Retail Crimes Task Force was responsible for carrying out the bust operation. This task force collaborates with local and state law enforcement agencies, as well as federal partners, to tackle incidents of retail theft.
