On Monday afternoon, a collision occurred on I-5 when a car flew off, resulting in the death of three out of the four occupants.
RMG News reported that at approximately 4:30 p.m., a white sedan drove off the 5 Freeway, located about 2 miles south of Templin Highway in Castaic, and collided with a tree on the side of the road.
As of Monday night, the identities of the three out of four occupants who lost their lives have not been disclosed.
On Monday night, the local hospital received a critically injured survivor who was removed from the vehicle after extraction.
It is still unclear what caused the crash as no details have been revealed yet. It’s uncertain whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
