Two men who were killed in separate late-night motorcycle accidents involving Harley Davidsons in San Diego County have been identified by authorities.
Joel Montoya of Valley Center tragically lost his life in a devastating motorcycle accident on Friday night. The collision occurred at the intersection of State Route 78 and 10th Street in Ramona when Montoya’s northbound motorcycle crashed into an SUV that had come to a stop in front of him. The Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that this tragic incident happened just before 11:30 p.m.
Around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, another unfortunate incident took place in Valencia Park. Terry Ivory, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga, was involved in a traffic stop in the 6200 block of Imperial Avenue. However, he decided to flee the scene and ended up losing control of his motorcycle. As a result, the motorcycle collided with a parked pickup truck approximately 10 blocks away. This collision caused Ivory and his passenger to be ejected from the motorcycle.
