Following a stabbing incident that occurred earlier this month, Los Banos police have detained a person on charges of attempted murder.
In a press release, the police stated that they had received a report of a stabbing on the 200 block of Mercy Springs Rd. on the night of August 5th. officers promptly responded to the incident.
Upon arriving at the location, law enforcement officers allegedly found a man who had sustained several stab wounds.

The suspect, 25-year-old Reginald Scott Grimes Jr., was later located by officers.
Grimes was taken into custody and processed at the Los Banos City Jail on suspicion of committing attempted murder.
