Officials and published reports have identified the man who was reported missing on Thursday and was found dead on Sunday along Little Tujunga Canyon Road as 60-year-old Jack Kidd. Jack Kidd was a resident of Canyon Country and served as the head grip for the CBS TV show, “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
According to The Signal, California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Josh Greengard reported that the CHP Newhall area office received notification from the Los Angeles Communications Center, the official CHP dispatch center, about a white Dodge Ram pickup truck that was discovered over the side of a mountain on Little Tujunga Canyon Road near Mile Marker 5.24.
According to Greengard, the person who had been missing since Thursday was being searched for by the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Search and Rescue team, which promptly responded to the incident reported by the concerned individual.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the victim has been identified as Kidd. Reports on social media suggest that Kidd was a resident of Canyon Country at the time of his disappearance.
According to Greengard, the informant reported using their drone and claimed to have found Kidd at the bottom of a mountain.
According to the report, the CSVO descended about 300 feet to reach the white Dodge and discovered the motionless body of a male individual only three feet away from the vehicle.
The Newhall area CHP office is currently investigating the incident and no foul play is suspected at this time. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being examined.
