A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy has entered a plea of no contest to two misdemeanors, over three years after prosecutors accused him of assaulting a woman during a disturbance call and subsequently providing false information in a report.
According to an email from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Konrad Thieme has been sentenced to one year of probation and 100 hours of community service for two counts of excessive force by a police officer.
Thieme’s attorney chose not to provide any comment on the matter. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Thieme has been relieved of duty since 2021.
